This summer Sony Music will release in Europe Celine Dion’s ‘The Essential’. It is a re-release of ‘My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection’. HERE you can see the cover. Really simply, don’t you think?
Céline: 3 Boys & A New Show is postponed till Fall 2011. Why? – Because this production is the sweet and Oprah Winfrey wants to keep in the bank to mark the start of the next season of her OWN channel.

Congratulations to Caesars Palace headliner Celine Dion as she celebrates 30 years of her show business career today.
It’s a dream that really did come true for the global superstar phenomenon. When she was just 14 years old, she told her family that she dreamed of becoming an international star and wanted to just sing all the time.
It was in 1982 — my, the time flies! — that she said: “My dream is to be an international star and to be able to sing all my life.” It was the first time she spoke in English!
Today as Celine continues her hugely successful run of residency shows at The Colosseum, she is scheduled to perform on the CBS telecast of the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards at the Las Vegas Hilton.

Celine is going to perform at the EMMY Awards this year!

EDIT: According to CDitalia, Celine taped her performance for EMMY’s yesterday. She sang ‘Because you loved me’ as tribute to Oprah.
No one thought Céline Dion’s return to the Las Vegas stage would be anything but dazzling — and the singer certainly doesn’t disappoint. To kick off her second three-year residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas — which begins today — Dion has got glitz, glam and costume changes galore, and stylist Annie Horth gave PEOPLE the scoop on the couture creations. Some fun facts: Dion’s “iconic” opening gown, by Armani Privé, was picked to show off the singer’s fab post-baby bod and contains more than 25,000 crystals; a chic Balmain mini weighs about 30 lbs.; the star even provides some of her own jewelry for the show.
After a seven-week break, superstar singer Celine Dion resumed her headline run of shows at Caesars Palace tonight, and her backup singer Elise Duguay, who is considering moving to Las Vegas full time, first met Celine in 1987 and has spoken candidly about their nearly 25-year relationship. The interview backstage in Celine’s guest lounge at The Colosseum painted an intimate portrait of their professional and personal lives.
Elise told me: “I never wanted to be a star myself. I never wanted to be up front. I was always happy and having fun in the background.” The singers met on the small 10- to 15-city Incognito Tour in 1987 when Elise was a backup singer in Quebec. Afterward, Elise returned to her TV and recording studio background vocal work, but then out of the blue in 1994, Celine called, and the call changed Elise’s life.
